The SCR power supply is also called thyristor power supply. It belongs to DC equipment with low voltage, high current, steady voltage and steady current. It adopts series resonance (namely the voltage type harmonic frequency tracking). It has high efficiency and high power factor. Thyristor power supply owns an obvious energy-saving effect. SCR power supply does not cause deformation of the waveform in rectifying section. There is no turn-off angle clipping phenomenon. Adopting large capacitor filter, the harmonic is small which produces small disturbance to the power gird.
